What is the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD)?

The ISBD is a membership organization that serves as the principal international organization for the promotion of research, education, good clinical practice and advocacy in bipolar disorders.
 

How many members does ISBD currently have?

The ISBD  has approximately 500 members from all over the world.  The ISBD also has numerous active international chapters with countless chapter members. To find a Chapter near you visit our map.
 

What are the membership dues for ISBD?

How do I join ISBD?

To join the ISBD online click on Membership, select the appropriate membership category, and follow the instructions.
 

What are the accepted methods of payment?

ISBD accepts personal and business checks, bank wire transfers, and most major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for the payment of membership dues.
 

What is the duration of membership?

Memberships run on a rolling basis.  A membership will expire after one year at the end of the month of purchase.  For example, if you purchaed your membership on March 2, 2019, it will expire on March 31, 2020.   Membership can be manually renewed each year or you may choose to set up auto renewal so that your membership automatically renews each year.
 

How do I update my contact information?

You can update your contact information by logging in to the Member Zone and selecting “Manage your account".You can also update your contact information by contacting Mary G. Miller, ISBD Program Manager, at marym@isbd.org.


What do I do if I can’t log into the ISBD Member Zone?
